I am a huge fan of Haze. She has a unique, effortlessly soothing voice that wraps itself around the stories in her songs. It’ll make you drift away, forgetting where you are – lost in her beautiful melodies. Fans of Joni Mitchell and Joanna Newsom would definitely love Haze as much as I do!
I actually first met Haze at a gig at the Greennote in London last month where she was supporting Gideon Conn. She was sweet, charming and apologised to the audience for her songs being “depressing”. I thought they were some of the most beautiful songs I’d heard in a long time, and her voice mesmerising. I bought her CD after the gig despite no longer owning a CD player or having a CD drive in my laptop (damn you Apple!!), so luckily she’s on Soundcloud and I can share her music with you! Enjoy! x
