When I met The Travelling Band at their London gig in October, I got the impression that they are one of the hardest working bands out there. Relentless touring, Pledge campaigning to fund their latest album, hosting a night in Manchester, all the while managing to be one of the tightest live bands I’ve seen…ever. So when I heard the news of their tour van being stolen from outside Adam’s (singer/guitarist) house I was absolutely devastated for them! It couldn’t have happened to a nicer bunch.
However, thanks to an incredibly effective twitter campaign, the word about the stolen van spread far and wide. Musicians, fans, bloggers, as well as the press all did their bit, and in very happy news just before Christmas, the van was recovered with all their equipment inside! In the words of Tyler Oakley, ‘Go Team Internet!’. Yaaaaaay!!!
